Michael Le SNIPES is not at all shy about their love of Detroit, as the retailer has previously teamed up with the Pistons not once but twice back in 2021. And for this year, they’re once again paying homage to the 313, this time via the adidas Forum Low.
Set to arrive right on 313 day, the upcoming SNIPES x adidas Forum Low makes a number of overt references to the Motor City. Alongside featuring “313” along the side and dubrae, the pair writes “I Am Detroit” across the inside of its strap. What’s more, “RAISED FROM CONCRETE” is stamped onto the insoles, flaunting a light gold shade that matches not only the aforementioned text but also several of the shoe’s exterior accents. Hits of white and navy, then, round out the colorway, simultaneously completing an ostensible nod to the Michigan Wolverines.
In honor of the collaboration’s release, SNIPES will also be hosting a full day dance contest — winners of which will receive $2,000 in prize money — that will include a 2v2 Jit & Breakin’ competition as well as a Detroit Jit vs Chicago Footwork exhibition battle.
