April Skateboards Receives Their Very Own Nike SB Dunk Low

April Skateboards Receives Their Very Own Nike SB Dunk Low

Helmed by SB rider Shane O’Neill — who’s been a part of the sub-label’s roster since the age of fourteen — April Skateboards was officially founded in 2019, only a year after O’Neill’s departure from Primitive. And though the imprint is still in its infancy, Nike SB can’t help but support one of their own, quickly providing the board company a collaborative pair of Dunk Lows.

At first glance, the April Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low conjures to mind images of past sneaker releases — namely, the Diamond Supply x Nike SB Dunk Low “Tiffany” and the Air Jordan 1 “Turbo Green.” The latter’s suede overlays are ripped almost 1:1, while the former imparts its metallic silver Swoosh. Elsewhere, the pair does come into its own: alongside featuring “April” branding along the lateral heel, the outsole is clad in a graphic that previously adorned one of April’s boards.

What’s more, a F&F colorway is also on the way, likely to fall into the hands of close friends Yuto Horigome, Yosef Ratleff, Noah Nayef, and the like. This pair, though ostensibly identical to its above-mentioned counterpart in most respects, opts instead for light purple overlays as well as rose chrome detailing.

At the time of writing this, a firm release date for the April Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low has not yet been revealed. For now, as we await more details, enjoy an in-hand look at the collaboration ahead.
