Jared Ebanks Following The Swooshes’ famed Air Max Day last Saturday, the Beaverton brand isn’t quite yet finished celebrating one of its most famed constructions to date as the Nike Air Max 90 dresses in a compelling mix of neutrals for its latest ensemble.
Indulging in a contrasting array of tinctures, the pair’s canvas-constructed base layer produces a bright “Light Bone” base layer at its vamp and heel collar. In stark opposition, “Phantom” consumes the ridged panels, suede mudguard, tongue and heel tabs in an all-consuming pitch-black treatment, anchoring the silhouette in a monochrome background. Elsewhere, the model’s disparately textured embellishments enjoy pulses from the brown section of the color wheel as “Khaki” treated suede quarters coordinate with the heavily cracked leather overlays dominant cure of “Baroque Brown”.
