“Granite” Takes Over This New Balance 550

“Granite” Takes Over This New Balance 550

The New Balance 550 continues to form an important part of the brand’s roster of products.

Recently, the Steven Smith-designed silhouette emerged in a clean “Granite” and “Quartz Grey” color scheme. Smooth and perforated leather across the upper takes on a cool grey hue. Textile base layers visible around the heel deviate in a slightly lighter off white tone that also appears on sidewall logos. Underfoot, the midsole follow suits, while the old school New Balance traction pattern favors the aforementioned “Granite” touch. All together, the upcoming NB 550 delivers a refreshing spin to an aesthetic widely associated with the North American brand’s footwear.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, as you wait to secure your pair via newbalance.com for $120 USD on April 6.
