Remastered at the hands of New Balance creative director Teddy Santis, the NB 650 has received a second half-life with an onslaught of OG-inspired color blockings bringing a 90s-infused aesthetic into a new age of lifestyle design. Recently the high-top counterpart to the 550 dressed in a compelling “Canyon” accent.
Embarking on its typical two-toned color blocking with seldom hits of grey, a dominant collection of bright white hues collect atop the heavily perforated leather upper. In an illuminated contrast, the aforementioned golden yellow hue indulges in the primary colors synonymous spots throughout the ensemble, bringing titular attention to the mesh heel, 650 branding at the forefoot and the bulbous mid-foot “N” logo.
Currently available overseas, enjoy official images of the New Balance 650 “Canyon” below in the meantime while we await further detail regarding a stateside release.
For more from underneath the Boston brand’s umbrella, the New Balance Rainier Low recently came clothed in a clad black ensemble ready to hit the great outdoors.
