Sneaker News Previewed nearly two months ago, the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 860v2 — the latest collaboration between the athletic sportswear powerhouse and the brand founded by its creative director Teddy Santis — is finally available to the public.
Inspired by the shiny and exaggerated overlays that were a common design detail in performance running shoes of the times, the minds at Aimé Leon Dore heavily rely on metallic gold and silver appliques to give the silhouette its distinct character, while three colorway options of red, blue, and green provide variance.
We’re still very early on in the 860v2 product cycle, with few in-line releases and collaborations sprinkled throughout the calendar since 2019. That said, the 860v2 could be a focal point moving forward as we’ve already seen partnerships with Montreal’s Dime and South Korea’s thisisneverthat.
All three pairs are now available online exclusively through Aimé Leon Dore here via a draw release. Each pairs retails for $150 and the draw ends on April 5th, 2023 at 11:59 pm ET.
