Sneaker News One of Nike’s best-selling Air Max icons needs no introduction. The Air Max Plus has been an on-foot mainstay on a global level since the late 1990s, and with the Swoosh not being shy about production numbers, there’s plenty to go around.
This upcoming iteration relies on the iconic gradient effect on the base mesh layer, with a bright Sundial yellow fading into the black abyss. The same yellow/black gradiation appears on the upper cage, while the remainder of the shoe is blocked finitely in the bumble-bee themed colors. This standard, base-model style of the Tuned Air might be the best version of the shoe, unless you prefer the lace-toggles as seen in the Air Max Plus “Black/Metallic Silver”.
