Whether or not you’re familiar with Cali DeWitt, it’s highly likely you’ve come across his work. From designing the merch for Ye’s “The Life of Pablo” to founding a streetwear label with READYMADE designer Yuta Hosokawa, DeWitt has had a hand in a number of influential projects. And for his latest, the multi-hyphenate is teaming up with adidas once again, this time on three colorways of the Campus 80s.
Unlike his last collaboration with the Three Stripes — which saw the NMD S1 clad in digi camo — Cali DeWitt’s upcoming Campus 80s are much more experimental in regards to color. Akin to something DIY’d, each of the three styles appear to have been submerged in paint complementary to their base colorway. The “Grey” option is dipped in off-white, the “Collegiate Burgundy” in pink, and the “Collegiate Navy” in light green. And in addition to the tonal embroidery, subtle co-branding, and reworked “adidas” logo, the shoes are packaged with a stencil so you can further customize your pair to your liking.
Enjoy a detailed look at the Cali DeWitt x adidas Campus 80s right here. Retailing for $180 USD, all three colorways will be available on adidas.com on September 28th at 10am ET.
