BEAMS Stays Dry In Their Latest Collaborative Pair Of New Balances

Adding GORE-TEX technology to what looks to be the 996.

BEAMS Stays Dry In Their Latest Collaborative Pair Of New Balances

Among one of the biggest retailers in Japan — boasting storefronts all throughout the country — BEAMS is far from obscure. And although they’ve yet to root themselves outside of Asia, many around the globe are still familiar with the retail giant, as they’ve collaborated with several of the footwear industry’s most notable.

New Balance, among many others, is well-acquainted with BEAMS, having crafted a number of collaborative sneakers over the course of the last few years. More, of course, are on the way in the near future, including this newly-revealed take on the footwear brand’s 996. From the available imagery, it appears that the silhouette has been dressed in a series of earth tones, with muted greens and light greys applied across its premium suede construction. Moreover, the construction is backed by GORE-TEX technology, ensuring the pair can be worn in even the harshest of conditions.

Enjoy a very quick look at the BEAMS x New Balance 996 ahead. At the time of writing this, a release date has yet to be disclosed; but given BEAMS teaser on IG, we likely won’t have to wait long for further details.
