During Jordan’s playing days it was very rare to see Varsity Royal on a pair of Air Jordans. There was Sport Blue, French Blue, True Blue, and of course the blue tone taking after North Carolina. Perhaps Varsity Royal resembled the colors of Jordan’s 90’s nemesis the New York Knicks, but then again, Air Jordans looked best in black, red, and white. Here’s a look at the Varsity Royal Jordan Flight SC-1, part of the Jordan Brand October 2010 collection. The synthetic leather upper features a tonal varsity royal coloring with perforated leather on the toe and center panel. the midsole is finished with black and white with a light graphite outsole. Check out the pics after the jump and watch for these at your local Jordan Brand spot because they just released Finishline – but you can also grab a crisp pair on eBay.
