In 2006, Nike released a special set of Nike Dunk Lows inspired by some of the most memorable Air Jordans ever created. The connection between Air Jordan and Dunk is easy to see, as the original Air Jordan 1 was a spin-off of the original Nike Dunk, so for this collection, Nike spiced up the Dunk Low using trademarks of each Air Jordan. Take the Air Jordan III for example; the Dunk version features the elephant print on the heel panel of the shoe, and the Air Jordan VIII uses the same color-blocking, adopting the frenzied mudguard pattern. The entire Air Jordan Inspired Dunk Collection can be seen at the ShoeZeum, a massive personal collection of sneakers with a museum-like set-up.
