Heads up, Ottawa natives – need something to do this weekend? The closing date of the “Out of the Box” exhibit at the Bata Shoe Museum has been extended, and you don’t want to miss it. This awesome exhibit details the history of sneakers and highlights the major points of interest to the culture, like Nike’s introduction in the 70s, the first Keds sneaker, adidas’ signing of a hip-hop group, and much more. June 1st is when the Bata Shoe Museum will close this feature for good, so be sure to check out it out.
