3M is to 2014 what Iridescent uppers will be to 2015. We’ve already seen the likes of the XENO Flux hypnotize the masses with the reflective upper transforming into a window pane of stained glass colors and now Nike is getting in on the action. Not that the Swoosh hasn’t dabbled with iridescence before – who remembers the Super Bowl collection from a few years back? Here the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Moire takes a more subtle approach though, thanks to the rainbow hues only showcasing on the Classic Charcoal base when light hits the silhouette. The classic Air Max 1 midsole gets trimmed down a bit and exudes a new-age finish thanks to a shade that’s neither white nor blue but somewhere in between. Have you tried on the latest rendition of Tinker Hatfield’s classic 1987 sneaker? No word yet on a release date but stay tuned for this unique pair to arrive sometime this summer.
