Nike Goes Heavy On Flight Jacket Themes With This Quilted Air Force 1

Nike Goes Heavy On Flight Jacket Themes With This Quilted Air Force 1

The signature flight jacket theme whose popularity was birthed by none-other-than the highly-revered Air Jordan 4 collaboration with UNDEFEATED, has appeared on several models across the Nike family including that of the Air Max 98, Air Max Tailwind IV, and Zoom Fly SP. And the next Swoosh silhouette to receive a military-inspired makeover is this upcoming colorway of the Air Force 1 Low that also features some material upgrades. Smooth leathers that usually find their way across the ’82 classic’s upper are traded out for drab olive satins and quilted paddings that remind us of US Army M-65 field jackets you might find in your local surplus store. The tongues now find themselves flipped inside out, Swoosh logos take on the on trend double stacked aesthetic, and murky brown midsoles print additional text branding to further nod to its Beaverton origins. Enjoy an official look at the pair here below, and be on the lookout for them to drop on Nike.com and at select retailers in the coming weeks.
