Jerry Lorenzo‘s ESSENTIALS has always been what its namesake would imply, outfitting the star designer’s younger audience with a wide range of more affordable options. The collaborations the line has since seen follow in the very same approach, as they use the classic Converse Chuck 70 to expand into a variety of neutral colorways. This week, the silhouette will receive not one but a total of three, with retailers getting their hands on this latest “Natural Ivory” update. Though dressed with two-toned color blocking, the pair’s most subversive tweaks lie in its very construction. The signature cap toe is dyed black unlike the norm, its tongues outfit in a contrasting leather instead of canvas, and the heels extend the fabrication to allow the laces to loop through. Elsewhere, the heel marks with “ESSENTIALS” in place of the standard Converse insignia. Grab a solid look at these here and await their forthcoming release on March 26th.
