Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Pigeon’
The Nike SB Dunk Low “Pigeon”, aka the Pigeon Dunks, is considered to be one of the greatest sneakers of all-time. It was a collaboration between Nike SB Skateboarding and The Reed Space, a sneaker/apparel boutique located in New York City. The shoes released in March 2005 and received mainstream attention on the news; it's credited as the release that brought sneaker culture to mainstream attention.
In October 2017, it was confirmed that a second version of the Pigeon Dunks would release. Nike SB athlete Ishod Wair revealed a first look; the shoes are now black and bright red and features the same iconic Pigeon logo on the heel. This second “Black Pigeon” version releases exclusively at Extra Butter on November 7th, 2017, followed by a global release on November 11th, 2017.
