OH WOW!! "Nike Air On The Back"! That BS does NOT matter. Because the shoe still looks like crap. The "Elephant Print" looks HORRIBLE! The shoe looks like a FAKE straight up. Cheap azz QUALITY. Jordan Brand/Nike is just continuing the demolishing of a legacy. I don't care how many BS marketing schemes they TRY to use. It is what it is! Poor quality, HIGHER prices. People! Finally! An ACTUAL retro of a Nike Air Jordan again, instead of these "Jordan Jordan's" under the guise of a 'retro'... THANK YOU JB! Thank you for putting aside your differences, and teaming up with Nike again, you know... the company that MADE you/gave you your start.

Nike: Now's your chance! Buy back JB, add Nike Air on the heel of EVERYTHING, so we can have REAL Jordan retro's all the time. And bring back that 'quality control' these guys don't seem to be fond of. Like the quality materials they use to use when they were trying to GET our money and NEEDED us... not the materials they use now, knowing that they HAVE us, and that we'll pretty much buy anything they put out. I remember people complaining saying the Melo 1's shouldn't be 140... But then I left an elaborate comment about the "OG" costing an extra 30 bucks! I also said if Nike dropped any Jordan's 3-6 it would be an auto cop!!! Now I won't say I saw the future but expect to see more premium Jordans with a higher retail price on them & better quality less, meaning less glue marks & premium leather! Who cares it's well worth it anyway! I'd pay 200 for these before 250 for a foam any day! I love foams but an OG jordan with Nike box, Nike Hangtags, Nike air on the insole, Nike Air Tags on the tongue, & Nike Air on the back?!? Lets go... I wouldn't dare wear the shoe from 88 so it could fall apart on me but I can get some from 2013 rock or stock for a year or two then rock! If you're mad about this release so what go get charged an arm and a leg for a shoe that's going to fall apart! Other than that enjoy the fact History is repeating itself! I still got my photo of MJ jumping from the free throw line in these in the dunk out in 88! He needed a 50 to win & got the 50 & beat Nique! Best dunk out ever... Go learn something!

i would have personally chose a diff color way.. since these dropped a year ago.. makes no difference whats on the heel.. most people dont care if its and og or not.. they usually tucked in a closet or case... i want the indiglo 14s to retro  imo...

I could care less about "ruining the value of the og's". Who gives a damn. Most of you don't don't have that shit anyway and are complaining. My thing is, these just dropped a year ago. I would like to see the 17's being retro. One of my favorite Jordan Sneakers. 2002 was a great yr. I honesty dogged ever single pair of 17's but I still have the brief cases that a few of them came in...lol I played ball in them and just tossed them after they were unwearable. regrets of a young man...lol They were $200 back then they will be like $250-$280 when they retro them...smh

in paris all the AJ3s cost from 250 to 300 euros(i was there last week). i am SO HAPPY  to see them keeping their jumpmans forever!!

Look simple as people didn't have the chance to be born in the 80s or before Michael started playing his games. Unfortunately some of us were born after he stopped playing or even during he was so we never really had a chance to own a pair of  'OGS' so it isn't fair on the younger generation. I think NIke and Jordan did a great job here. If you're complaining about price drops or quality changes then you're nothing but a hypebeast yourself. Thank you Jordan Brand !

At the end of the day, we can bitch, moan, and groan about all of the "OG" Jordan's and their lack on Nike Air on the heel but guess what, we will still buy the shit regardless!!! People complaining about "hypebeast" when the OG heads are the one's  who made the shoe for what it is making these young sneakerheads wanting them just like I wanted them when I was there age. Nike would be stupid not to put the nike air sign on the back. They are a business and at the end of the day they know this will sell. I got mine from 04" and 2011 so im good. People should be concerned with quality of the shoe because these will probably cost more then the 2011 and be just as bad quality.

AHHHHHHHH YES!!!!!!! Now the Resell Value will go down. Oh yeah now i def have to Fuck with Jordan 's once more now.

thank you JB can tell you do read every post trying to inspire everyone to go and cop a pair. also great marketing idea imo bringin nike back will give him 2 markets jordan retro and nike og, always finding ways to keep us goin. This will also hype up people to realize the importance of JB to also keep retros like the beloved AJ5 with the jumpman on the back with the 23 but also keep it OG hopefully later on in 2 yrs also bringin all the retros from next yr to also come back with the nike air. I have a feelin the 11s jumpman will also see a turnaround if u know what i mean

I kinda want another pair of the white/cement III's (the midsole paint on my 2011's is starting to chip a little) and this new development make that want a need.

I just have a question to all the "OG" 'heads that are complaining about the younger generation. What about the ones like myself that are like a legacy now and were born into this sneaker collecting? My dad was born and raised in Chicago and used to be a collector back in the late 80's until I was born. Then he gave it up to help raise me. All my life though he's made sure I'm in some heat and I knew who Jordan was. At about the age of 13 I started choosing my own shoes. (I didn't know much about collecting then) Now at the beginning of this year I finally understood and started to avidly collect. Every pair I've got since then (only a handful) has had a special moment behind it for me. An example is the Bred 11. One of my very first memories of Jordan is when he won the championship on Father's Day. I sat right next to my dad watching it. Now I didn't get the 2012 ones because I got the Cdp 11's about 3-4 months ago. Not all of us are in this for the hype. Some are in because they genuinely do remember the man behind the shoe.

Great move to try and kill the resellers that ask for $350.00 + for sneakers. It's a dope idea, alot of the OG Jordans from the 80's are unwearable and if your a collector you can keep your OG's put away and still be able to rock that 80's early 90's OG Jordan's look. But the sneaker game has changed over the last 3 yrs. I remember when the Space Jams dropped in 09 it was a simple as walking into a store at 8am and buying your pair. In 3 yrs we have RSVP's we have raffle's. I use to camp out for kicks it was a good way to meet and talk to real sneaker collectors. It was part of the culture. But I'm glad that Nike/Jordan have done these Re-Stocks. Jordan's went from a basketball sneaker to a lifestyle sneaker. Times have changed and we all have to just deal with it....
