Burn Rubber x New Balance 577 Teaser

The team at Detroit’s Burn Rubber looks to be teaming up with New Balance once again for their fifth pair of collab sneakers with that entity. Here’s what’s known about the project: it will release within the next couple of weeks, it will be paying homage to some local Detroit history, and the model is the New Balance 577. As you can see the sneakers come packaged in a mini instrument case. Does that mean they’re a nod to an important Detroit blues figure? Eddie Burns or John Lee Hooker perhaps?
