The above is the second collaboration between New Balance and Spanish store 24 Kilates, and will be released as the second shoe of the Modernism Pack. 24 Kilates is paying tribute to legendary Catalan artists through this Modernism Pack which began April 2008 with the New Balance 1700, inspired by architect Antoni Gaudi. This particular NB was inspired by Joan Miró, who also served as the inspiration for the Miró Air Jordan VII. This black based sneaker features green, yellow, red, and blue accents on the uppers and outsole which resembles much of Miró’s colorful art. 24 Kilates has announced that these will release on April 4th, 2009.
