When you think of reflective sneakers, 3M probably comes to mind 99 times out of 100. If you’ve got your ear to the streets, the other time would be the stunning glass bead-embedded fabric made by DDCLAB in Schoeller, Switzerland. Adding another innovative fabric to the NB credits are the New Balance 420 Schoeller See-Thru Pack. Instead of a reflective fabric, these feature an underlay of ‘Spirit’, a dope new textile with an interesting semi-transparent/translucent effect. When looking at these pictures, it’s only partialy obvious because the ribbed fabric has a colour of its own, but when worn, the Spirit underlay will reveal the colour of its owner’s socks or skin. Take a look through at all the pics after the jump furnished by the fine folks at Freshness, then cop one, two or all three from select New Balance Lifestyle collection retailers.
