Dwyane Wade’s appearance at NBA Media Day in the black and red Air Jordan XI (11) stole the show, but he certainly wasn’t the only NBA star showing off colour-coordinated kicks for the upcoming season. New teammate Quentin Richardson looks awefully with his Air Jordan 2009s. Both Atlanta’s Mike Bibby and Charlotte’s Tyson Chandler sport white and blue Air Jordan Jumpman Pro. Chandler appeared with teammate Gerald Wallace, who, along with Bobcats guard DJ Augustin, can be seen rocking Air Jordan Six Rings.
We almost didn’t recognize the recently de-cornrowed and conspicuously maskless Rip Hamilton, but the long time Jordan Brand stalwart can’t hide beside new teammate Ben Gordon in his Air Jordan XII (12) Rising Suns. Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis also rocks an updated version of a classic in the Boston Air Jordan 1 High from this year’s 60-Point DMP. One step further from the traditional Jordan legacy are the fusions we see on Philly guard Louis Williams, who goes with the military blue AJFIV, while Nate Robinson shows love for a classic with a pair of Air Jordan VIII’s in White/Orange/Grey. Meanwhile, Carmelo Anthony continues his own legacy with the sixth in his line of signature Jays.
