Eric Koston’s “OH!”-face in the picture above denotes his enthusiasm for fellow Nike SB riders ripping up the halfpipe upon which he and Brian Anderson are sofa’d. Koston and Anderson are enthusiastic about everything skateboarding, and that obviously includes their own custom takes on skate shoes. For Koston, it’s the Nike SB Dunk Low CS with his name on it, which features a new material on the sole for better grip and board feel. Anderson changed his sole too, adding a cup to the Nike Blazer Mid, which itself was taken from the scissored-off custom kicks that used to pervade the skate world. Check out a video interview from the appropriately named Nike SB Icon x Icon series and stick with Sneaker News for all things Nike SB.
