Nike Air Max Uptempo 97 Red Metallic Det 01

The return of the Air Max Uptempo ’97 in the original white/college blue/black colorway was pleasant to many, but check out this upcoming colorway of the ‘Urban Federation’ Uptempo ’97; let’s just say, this colorway might not have rubbed people the right way 13 years ago, but this dazzling color-scheme with a varsity-red Foamposite-like upper, black midsole with varsity red TPU “teardrops”, and a translucent sole make these old Nike Basketball kicks fitting for these times (almost like the NBA Western Conference All-Star colorway). Not much info has been detailed regarding the ‘Urban Federation’ designation, but ‘urban’ they are indeed. These are set to be a Quickstrike release and have popped up at select shops, but you can also expect these to hit Footaction retailers on Saturday (they’ve already been spotted at some Footaction locations right now). Check out the detailed images after the jump and head over to O-sneaker because they have them as well.
