Nike’s known for thinking ahead of its time but for its retro-inspired runners like the Air Max Liquid Racer, the designers went with an completely opposite approach – thinking years before their time. Job well done on the Liquid Racer, as it truly does appear to be a release from the 90’s. The Air Max Liquid Racer features the Air Max Light midsole with an upper similar to the Air Max 1, using a metallic upper trim to achieve that ‘liquid’ feel. On the insole of this pair you will see the Air Max Fighter character that’s been seen on some recent Nike tees.
