Takahiro Miyashita’s Number (N)ine label came to close some time ago but his expertise in creating mystifying pieces of work from the most plain canvasses can be seen in his recent collaborations with Converse. Last March Miyashita created the Asymmetrical All-Star Low and One Star, featuring a Footscape-like lacing structure that fell to the lateral edges of the shoe, and that same design notion is seen in his most recent Number (N)ine x Converse project, inspired by the Odessa, the classic Converse runner from the 1980’s. The uppers of both Fall 2010 colorways are constructed in deer-skin, with leather inner linings. This release will be available at the select Converse accounts like Leftfoot in Singapore so take a look at these inspired designs and let us know what you think. via streething.
