The Nike Zoom Don returned earlier this year as a high-top basketball version of the classic Nike Spiridon running shoe from the 90’s. Sharing a number of design cues like the large swoosh, mesh upper, and mountain outsole, the Spiridon lives on in the Zoom Don – but on the basketball court instead of the running track. This new patent leather Varsity Red and Metallic Silver colorway was previewed in summer, a colorway combo that was a sharp turn from the ‘OG’ inspired colorways that first dropped. Outfitting with Zoom Air and a lightweight construction, the Zoom Don could be another classic in the making. The Varsity Red/Metallic Silver colorway is releasing this Saturday, September 25th at Foot Locker House of Hoops so take an extra look after the jump and let us know what you think of the colorway.
