Nike Air Pegasus ’92 – Spring/Summer 2011

One of Nike’s earliest running shoe models is the Nike Air Pegasus, and following the original model came a number of sequels and special editions. You are probably familiar with the Air Pegasus ’89 as it was a popular Retro release last year, but a shoe that doesn’t get much shine is the Air Pegasus ’92. With design elements taken from the Air Max ST of the same year, the Air Pegasus ’92 featured a two-toned midsole with a synthetic heel plate. There’s a lot more to the Pegasus line than you might remember – the Air Pegasus Racer, All/Terrain, the 10th Anniversary edition – but the return of the ’92 for the Spring/Summer 2011 season is one history lesson worth looking forward to.
