The Nike Air Max 95 is right at the top of the list for “Most Individually Recognizable Design elements”. From the ‘muscle fibers’ tiered upper to its status as the first shoe to feature Max Air in the heel and forefoot, the AM95 is one of the more noteworthy kicks in the Beaverton vault. Perhaps more than any other single thing, the Ninety-Five is known for its trademark grey-dient, so it’s interesting to see how this model works in an all-black-everything colorway. Well, not exactly ‘everything’, as these joints contrast their rich ostrich leather uppers with select Light Taupe hits for a look that’s oh so subtle and versatile.
