The Innovation Kitchen is always cooking up strange recipes and during Nike’s random experiments, many don’t end up in production – although we hope some did! Check out this circa 2006 Nike Boot inspired by the Air Max2 CB’94, the classic Nike Basketball sneaker from the 90’s. It features a similar upper design with the ‘dimples’ on the upper with a toe-box construction identical to the Barkley shoe as well as the upper lace-eyelets. These scrapped boots also features a visible Air Unit similar to the Basketball version, although the midsole has been swapped out for a more aggressive trail-ready construction. These shoes are nearly five years old and you may never come across these again, so check out the detailed shots after the jump and pick up this used yet rare sample from identitiesrevealed on eBay.
