Never has one player’s return to his original team caused a media commotion like LeBron’s return to Cleveland. Not quite a duplicate of the prodigal son, but LeBron’s homecoming has been one of the most anticipated events of the 2010-11 NBA Season. The recipient of incessant boo-ing and chants of “Sco-ttie Pip-pen” (in a “negative” light) whenever he touched the ball, LeBron James led the Miami Heat to its third straight win while dropping a season high 38 points in just three quarters of play. It seemed that LeBron, in Cleveland, felt right at home. As for his kicks, some have speculated about a possible Quickstrike colorway or introduction of the LeBron 8 V2 commemorating ‘The Return’, and LeBron James followed through as he debuted the second new LeBron 8 colorway in as many games – this time a black leather upper with a white swoosh. These aren’t quite the ‘Blackout’ colorway we’ve seen before, but the LeBron 8 ‘Un-China’ James wore the game before featured minor alterations as well. Check out the gallery of LeBron James in the Black/White LeBron 8 during his return to Cleveland and let us know what you think of this new colorway. via ESPN.
