The adidas Originals Hardland takes its name from how rough it can be to land a big trick in vulcanized soles like the bottoms on these lifestyle mashups. But maybe for this new release it should be ‘heartland’, as in where most of the crops are grown, both cos the colorway resembles wheat and the Timberlands you might be wearing to farm it. So with inspiration from basketball and skateboarding sneakers and now workboots, you’ve pretty much got the entire gamut of footwear all in one relatively versatile model. There’s another pair and they do have a vague boot resemblance with contrast stitching on a rich brown leather upper, but this pair is perhaps less ‘inspired’ and more of just a solid color combo.
