It’s named after a running shoe but aside from the sole, the adidas Originals ZX 800 Casual looks like a wide-ranging boot hybrid. These moc-toed midtops have a chukka-leaning lace placket with eyelet hooks on the top two reminiscent of workboots, and you gotta figure the rich brown leather used on this pair could work well on any of its constituent models. Next time you gotta be somewhere that doesn’t ‘allow’ sneakers but you just can’t sacrifice comfort, consider grabbing a pair of ZX800 Casuals; Caliroots has ’em.
