The last time Sneaker News showed you this new Air Max 95 colorway, many of you marveled at the use of patent leather on the upper. Patent leather needs to be used selectively because of its overpowering nature, but it’s clearly used just right on this particular colorway. The upper features alternating panels of patent leather and smooth, with the toe-box using micro-perforated leather for another dose of variety. When you think black patent leather with red and white, you immediately think the Air Jordan XI – perhaps that was the source of inspiration for this new colorway.
