That phrase on the above pictured pair’s tongue ranks as one of the most easily identifiable quotes from the Star Wars saga, an early memory of Darth Vader from A New Hope. Darth’s unmistakable helmet also makes an appearance on this new Star Wars x adidas Originals Ultrastar, which is a slightly modified take on the Superstar shell toe we’ve come to know and love over the last quarter century plus the face of evil on its toe. Makes sense, then, that they’re done almost entirely in black, with red and gold accents helping to push back toward a broader theme.
