With the release of the Nike Air Griffey Max II, the super-hybrid Air Max JR, and the OG ‘Freshwater’ colorway of the Air Griffey Max 1, ‘The Kid’ has the Nike Retro game on lock.  If you were a fan of the Air Griffey Max 1 (one of Nike’s most popular re-issues of the past decade), then consider the Air Griffey Max 1 ‘Freshwater’ a must-have. It’s got a black and freshwater teal upper with a black midsole and white ‘eyelids’ over the visible Max Air windows. These aren’t set for a release until August 2011, but avoid the wait and rock some neck-breakers early by copping a pair now from air-randyhk on eBay.
