When Ken Griffey Jr. left Seattle for Cincinnati, many Mariner fans were left with a bad taste in their mouths. It was a ‘decision’ that changed the immediate future for all three parties (the Mariners, the Reds, and Griffey himself), but Griffey eventually returned to the Mariners to spend a farewell season ‘tour’. It sure was nice to see Griffey in Teal blue, but this sample colorway of the Air Max JR should have you seeing red in more ways than one; this tonal varsity red colorway of the Air Max JR features a very ‘Air Attack’ treatment, achieving a nice contrast with the white swoosh at the toe.
