Original. Redone. Here’s a look at the adidas Originals Superstar Lite Pack, which has undergone a weight reduction procedure which might not be noticeable to the eye (perhaps that’s a good thing for such an iconic shoe). The rupper cup-sole has been swapped out in favor of an EVA foam mid-sole to give the Superstar a lighter build, making it even more wearable. adidas, like many other footwear brands, have been going through a ‘weight-loss’ renaissance, using shoes like the adidas Crazy Light as the prime example of adidas’ ability to create a lightweight, durable shoe. Will we see a ‘Crazy Light’ version of the Superstar, like we did with the Forum Mid? Check out the adidas Originals Superstar Lite Pack and look out for these exclusively at Foot Locker and Eastbay.
