C.C. Sabathia has a very good 2011 regular season, but Yankee fans who have been tracking his progress know that he didn’t end the 2011 campaign so well. We’re all aware that his NLDS pitching performances didn’t exactly do much for the Yankees’ quest for number 28, but remember that he did post 19 wins this season with a 3.00 ERA while pitching a ton of innings. Here’s a look at a game-worn PE of the Air Jordan IV – one that we showed you in mid July; it features a the Yankees ‘Away’ digs (Navy and Grey) with Sabathia’s 52 stitched on the upper. With rumors of Sabathia possibly opting out of his Yankees contract, these could be one of the last game-worn Air Jordan PEs in Yankees colors we’ll see on C.C.’s feet. More images below, but if you want these in your collection, hit up the auction from tylerdurdan24 on eBay.
