When we associate a superstar player with one team, seeing said star wear another jersey is a rather tough pill to swallow. Griffey in a White Sox uni, Patrick Ewing in a Sonics/Magic jersey, heck, even MJ in Wizards Blue/Gold was a bit funky. Ken Griffey Jr. will always be tied to White/Teal Mariners colors, and although he poetically ended his career by returning to Seattle, we can’t overlook his years as a Cincinnati Red and his short span with the Southside White Sox. Just yesterday, Sneaker News gave you notice about the Cincinnati Reds Air Max JR releasing in November, but it looks like some retailers, like MrRSports, will drop them early tomorrow, alongside the ‘White Sox’ edition (which will drop on Nikestore).
