We often forget that MVP-frontrunner and possible 2012 Scoring Champ (Three-peating in that award, should he come out atop the heap by this Friday) is just a 23-year-old kid. He’s remained so humble and focused because of how grounded his family keeps him, and it’s clear that the female authority figures have had as much of a profound effect on him as his coaches and mentors have. We already saw a special PE KD IV made for his mother Wanda, but today we get a look at another PE of sorts made for Aunt Pearl; it features a tonal pink profile with a translucent pink outsole and a black swoosh on a strap, but what makes it a visual masterpiece is the pearloid panel on the heel – an obvious play on his grand-aunt’s name.
