It’s been nearly a decade since Nike last gave us the Air Trainer SC in a lowtop form, and given the response that model and its sequel enjoyed over the past few years, this newer introduction is all but guaranteed a strong following. The Nike Air Trainer Classic gives us a bit of that classic ‘seatbelted’ SC look in a bold mix of black nubuck, silver/grey and Soar blue. It’s reminiscent of the Orlando Magic/Air Penny lineup and yet the style predates their peak popularity, an anachronism that gives these a fresh feeling while you think back through your memory to try and place them.
