The collaborative output from the team at Sneakersnstuff has been sort of a Jekyll/Hyde affair, with the pairs produced ranging from extra bright to solemn and stoic. The new Asics GT-II they’re cooking up, the second time they’ve worked on that silhouette in as many years, is certainly more in line with the toned down category, blocked off with a simple black and white colorway that could be borrowed from the ‘Yin & Yang’ set of Asics Gel Lyte III’s from earlier this year. The suede sneakers do bring in just a bit of patterning, lining the innards with a checkerboard look.
