The New Balance 999 has enjoyed a strong couple of years, and we can trace a good deal of that momentum here in the states to a genius pairing of two of New England’s best. NB hooked up with CNCPTS to create the sailing-inspired ‘Kennedy’ and history was made as these pushed a New Bal collabo into the 2011 SOTY discussion. The expectations are high now that we know a follow-up is planned for an August 4th release, and with the promo materials for this ‘Seal Narrative Capsule’, we can expect a highly detailed ultra-deluxe package with potential emphasis on more earthy tones, but this time with a neon boost.
