In an effort to bring together two American icons and fashion, Converse taps the minds of street-wear label Stussy to devise a special-edition build of the Converse Pro Leather of the brand’s premium-grade First String label. Using an Americana-fashion inspired patchwork built with supreme materials, the Stussy x Converse First String Pro Leather matches two complementary concepts to convey the All-American message centered around Stussy’s NYC vibe. Converse has slowly built up the mystique behind its partnership with the New York City chapter of Stussy with those teaser shots and the preview video, but today, we finally get some solid release information and details for this August 2012 release. The official release date will be this Saturday, August 25th, and will be priced at $128; two colorways will also be available – one with a navy blue suede and another with a burnt orange suede. A full shot of both are just ahead so give them a look and let us know which of the two you like better.
