adidas Basketball: The Return of D Rose: “Push”

Adidas Basketball The Return Of D Rose Push

“A normal person would stop right when they feel pain. I try to go through it . . . to make myself different.”

Thanks to adidas Basketball’s latest marketing campaign, sports fans have by now memorized that sick (not in a good way) Kevin Harlan call from Game 1 of last year’s Eastern Conference Quarterfinals: “Holding on to his knee. Holding onto his knee and down.” With those words, Derrick Rose‘s season ended along with the Chicago Bulls’ championship aspirations, but don’t expect the NBA’s youngest-ever MVP to just stay down. D-Rose’s knee kept him out of the Olympics this summer, but he worked just as hard as those repeat champions to get back to their level, putting in countless hours of painful rehabilitation so he can once again run the court at United Center. Click through to see part four of ‘The Return of D Rose’ (the ‘Wake Up’ clip is actually the aforementioned TV ad) and stick with Sneaker News for more on Derrick’s comeback in the adizero Rose 3.
