More Air Max ’87 goodies continue to pop up with the newly branded “Essential” grade, but with a colorway as clean and crisp like this Black/Royal/Anthracite, we can only agree that these are indeed “essential” to any Air Max collection! The ‘Essential’ model, it seems, is the base build of the Air Max 1, with mesh and synthetic nubuck uppers for that classic appeal. We’ve seen Premiums with synthetic leather and a firmer suede and 2013 will in fact yield the Engineered Mesh and VNTG versions, so there’s a lot to choose from depending on your personal style.
