Sneaker News Weekly Rewind: 10/27 – 11/2

This past week was testing not only on the Sneaker News staff and the entire Northeast region as a whole. But that didn’t stop us from bringing you the best that the world of kicks has to offer, starting off with last weekend’s unveiling of the Doernbecher 2012 collection, new LeBrons like the sick ‘Prism’ and the ‘Home’, and the White/Camo Foamposite One that quickly adopted the ‘Fighter Jet’ nickname.  The NBA season came back in full force, with LeBron rocking a sick Gold PE and Ray Allen perhaps stealing the show with his Air Jordan XVI PE, but Nate Robinson deserves credit for rotating three Air Jordans in his Chi-Town debut. Gilbert Arenas headed to China, bringing with him several pairs of heat, while P. Diddy diddy-bopped his way to the headlines with the DMP VI.

The final hurrah of the AF1-XXX is the Lunar Force 1 Fuse, debuting on December 12th. Tennis got some love with the Agassi-inspired Flame Collection, while we got a look at three 2013 colorways of the Air Huarache Trainer ’94. Another ‘Orlando’ Air Flight One drops next week, while NSW debuted the Free Woven (with several more for 2013). Collabs galore once again, in the form a Packer x adidas, Staple x New Balance, and Bones Brigade x Vans. It was a good week for Air Jordan PEs and OGs, and our week-long tribute to SB Dunk Highs of ’05 was a nice look into the past.
