After a quintet of vintage editions right around the turn of the year, Steve Prefontaine’s classic Nike Running signature has been all but silent. That changes with a couple new Nike Pre Montreal Racer colorways coming up for January, both of which feature lightly yellowed midsoles though they’re not as yet confirmed to be from NSW’s VNTG series. Both are based in grey/blue, but the difference in their interplay as well as each pair’s Swoosh/laces/sole combo creates enough novelty that you might not immediately realize how similar they are on paper.
