Earlier this month Jordan Brand unveiled an interesting hybrid Air Jordan 1 that brought in some design cues from the Air Jordan XIII, providing the name “Air Jordan 1 Retro ’97” in the process. It appears that maybe this formula of adding some flavor to an Air Jordan 1 base will be an ongoing theme, as we’ve already seen some interesting attempts in the Air Jordan Prime 5 and Air Jordan Sixty Club. This White/Black-Gym Red sample is a clear indication of that ‘He Got Game’ colorway that has been confirmed for a release, but it’s not entire clear if this Air Jordan 1 Retro ’97 model is just a promo sample (size 13 for Michael Jordan, perhaps?).
