The collection of non-signature Nike Basketball shoes these days are prefixed with ‘Hyper’, but this concept first began over a decade ago with the super-lightweight Nike Zoom Hyperflight. Back then, the Hyperflight wasn’t entirely well received by consumers because the shoe was perhaps too dependent on futuristic design projections rather than on current trends, and even today, the Hyperflight design looks ahead of its time. Nike aims to bring back the Hyperflight with punchy graphics on the upper dubbed the “Superhero” Pack, and while the three other confirmed releases are directly tied to Nike Basketball’s Big Three, this fourth colorway doesn’t have any true tie to a Nike athlete (although Blake Griffin would’ve been a nice fit had he stayed with the Swoosh). According to winzz on NT, this particular colorway has already reached retail shelves in China, so we’ll let you know when and if these drop in the U.S. and stay tuned for a release of the KD, Nate, and LeBron versions on March 29th.
